By extracting quantitative features from medical imaging data, radiomics can contribute not only to the development of a non-invasive and pre-operative system for grading gliomas but also to the characterization of important molecular markers, such as IDH mutation, 1p/19q codeletion, and MGMT promoter methylation, which play crucial roles in treatment decision-making and progression assessment. Here, MGMT is linked to central nervous system cancer.
