IL20 and ovarian carcinoma: Parrish-Novak et al. showed that lower doses of IL-24 induce proliferation in receptor-transfected BaF3 cells, whereas high doses of IL-24 bind to IL-20R, which leads to the growth inhibitory effect in an ovarian carcinoma cell line; they demonstrated that a similar growth inhibitory effect was observed with IL-19 but not IL-20 in a human ovarian carcinoma cell line [13].
