TNFRSF8 and Hodgkins lymphoma: CD30 plays an integral part in the Hodgkin lymphoma pathology by supporting Reed–Sternberg survival and proliferation; activation via signaling pathway by CD30 triggers the activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB), an activator transcription factor responsible for gene expression which promotes survival resistance to apoptosis and ultimately contributes to sustained growth and survival of Reed–Sternberg cells over time.
