In line with this, HW/BW ratio indicated that RMST silencing was able to reverse cardiac hypertrophy, which was also confirmed by a decrease in mRNA expression of hypertrophy-related genes, including natriuretic peptide precursor A (Nppa) and β myosin heavy chain 7 (Myh7) (Figure 8F-H).
