To date, the only anti-PD-1 plus TKI combination shown to lead to a significant progression-free and overall survival benefit is the combination of camrelizumab plus rivoceranib, where combination immunotherapy led to a median overall survival of 22.1 months against 15.2 months achieved for the sorafenib control arm, the longest duration ever reported in a first-line trial in HCC [42]. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
