Indeed, SIRT3 has been reported to regulate the pyruvatedehydrogenase complex (PDC) in lung cancer,18 cyclophilin D in breast cancer,19 glutamateoxaloacetate transaminase 2 (GOT2) in pancreatic cancer,20 and manganese-dependent superoxide dismutase(MnSOD) in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)21 and in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).22 This evidence concerns the gene SIRT3 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
