In recent years, ultrasound molecular imaging (USMI) with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor type 2 (VEGFR2) targeted microbubble (MBVEGFR2) has been reported to improve the early diagnosis rates of breast cancer (including ductal carcinoma in situ), pancreatic cancer and hepatic micrometastases.
