KLK3 and Familial prostate cancer: In the prostate cancer cohort, patients with a PSA level higher than 20 ng/mL had a 22% reduction in median survival time for prostate cancer–specific mortality (TR, 0.78; 95% CI, 0.76-0.81), and those with a Gleason score of 8 or higher had almost a 40% reduction in median survival time for prostate cancer–specific mortality (TR, 0.61; 95% CI, 0.58-0.63) (Figure 2).
