GATA2 has prominent role in cell lineage determination and development, mainly in haematological lines (Robert-Moreno et al. 2005, Lugus et al. 2007), but there is also an important role for GATA2 in urogenital and prostate development and in PCa (Zhou et al. 1998, Perez-Stable et al. 2000, Baca et al. 2021, Fernandes et al. 2021). This evidence concerns the gene GATA2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
