DHCR7-DT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: For NAFLD, analysis of the measured values of the investigated parameters (Student’s t-tests) for the two groups indicated significantly increased values of AP (p < 0.001), TG (p = 0.031), DBP (p = 0.001), BMI (p = 0.022) and ALT (p < 0.001) and increases at the limit of statistical significance for high glycemia (p = 0.077) and SBP (p = 0.056), as well as significantly lower values for HDLch (p < 0.001) and vitamin D (p < 0.001 ) (Table 2).
