Considering the role of pro-oxidants in oxidative stress and as a result the increases in the number of MetS components and cardio-metabolic risk factors, as well as limited research focusing only on pro-oxidant factors, this present study aimed to evaluate the association between dietary triggers of oxidative stress and cardio metabolic risk factors including blood pressure, lipid profile, glycemic and insulin related factors among apparently metabolically healthy subjects with obesity. This evidence concerns the gene INS and Obesity.
