A previous study reported an important β-cell-macrophage pathway mediated by miRNA-29-TRAF3 [39], while another study found that miR-29b-3p affects the triple-negative breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 by targeting TRAF3 and activating the NF-κB signaling pathway [40].
