KEGG pathway analysis showed that the GJB2 co-expressed genes were enriched in pathways such as apoptotic signaling pathway, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway, p53 signaling pathway, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, proteoglycans in cancer, TNF signaling pathway, NF-kappa B signaling pathway, ECM-receptor interactions, and oxidative phosphorylation (Figure 15E). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
