Levodopa is most commonly prescribed for the initial treatment of motor symptoms (9), and levodopa-induced complications, including wearing-off and dyskinesia, are managed by adjusting the dosage, administering levodopa, or adding other drugs such as dopamine agonists (DAs), catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitors, or monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B) inhibitors (8). Here, COMT is linked to Dyskinesia.
