The spatial positioning of MLL (mixed-lineage-leukemia or myeloid-lymophoid-leukemia, now renamed as KMT2A) (Britten et al. 2019; Ziemin-van der Poel et al. 1991; Zotova et al. 2021) and MLL-related genes, including AF4, AF6, AF9, ENL, and ELL (the most common translocating partner of MLL), can be the possible contributing factors of human leukemias. This evidence concerns the gene ELL and leukemia.
