In contrast, MAO-B inhibitor treatment was associated with significantly lower depression symptoms (β=−0.41, 95%CI [−0.81, −0.01], p=0.047), but not motivation symptoms (β=−0.03, 95%CI [−0.27, 0.21], p=0.8), on average across all years of follow up. This evidence concerns the gene MAOB and depressive symptom measurement.
