CDH1 and neoplasm: Transmembrane protein E‐cadherin is considered as the key component of adherens junctions.[30] It could combine EGFR signal subway and nuclear mechanotransduction to regulate polar tissue distribution and tight junction formation.[31] It has been reported that the knockdown of E‐cadherin can promote tumor stemness‐like phenotype and antitumor drug resistance screening.[32] HIF‐1α‐mediated pathway will also play an essential role in drug resistance and screening.
