To further investigate the underlying mechanism of tyrosine sulfation on CKD-related atherosclerosis, PBMCs from the study cohort 1 ESRD patients were collected, and the sulfation status of the main adhesion molecules and chemokine receptors, including CCR2, CCR5, CX3CR1, and PSGL1, was determined. This evidence concerns the gene CCR5 and atherosclerosis.
