To further investigate the underlying mechanism of tyrosine sulfation on CKD-related atherosclerosis, PBMCs from the study cohort 1 ESRD patients were collected, and the sulfation status of the main adhesion molecules and chemokine receptors, including CCR2, CCR5, CX3CR1, and PSGL1, was determined. Here, CX3CR1 is linked to atherosclerosis.
