SRRM2 and myelodysplastic syndrome: Results showed that serine–arginine repetitive matrix protein 2 (SRRM2) was significantly overexpressed in the myeloid diseases AML (mean = 4.85 ± 0.92; P = 0.0003), MPN (mean = 2.87 ± 0.58; P = 0.0015), and MDS (mean = 2.25 ± 0.51; P = 0.0094) when compared with controls, with expression being significantly higher in AML than in MDS (P = 0.0382) (Fig. 1B).
