WNT5A and cervical carcinoma: Previous reports have implicated overexpression of Wnt5A and Wnt-11 in cervical cancer invasion and metastasis (Lin et al. 2014; Wei et al. 2016); our analysis suggested possible acquisition of cell motility and migratory traits in LGCIN that progressed, potentially through deregulation of Wnt signaling mediators secondary to loss of miRNA-mediated translational suppression.
