First, YBX3 was found to be significantly expressed in the various types of cancer tissues analyzed, namely cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL) (P < 0.001), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) (P < 0.05), esophageal carcinoma (ESCA) (P < 0.001), ccRCC (P < 0.001), renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP) (P < 0.001), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) (P < 0.001) and thyroid carcinoma (THCA) (P < 0.001) (Fig. 1A). This evidence concerns the gene YBX3 and cholangiocarcinoma.
