Even though the morphological features and sparse AR immunopositivity were suggestive of salivary duct carcinoma, the tumor was finally diagnosed as high-grade secretory carcinoma, given its localization in the parotid gland, MUC4 and S100 expression, papillary-cystic morphology, and molecular profile [19]. The gene discussed is MUC4; the disease is salivary duct carcinoma.
