This tight distance in the human PPI suggests that frequently reported susceptibility of GDM offspring to childhood and adolescence overweight may be caused by the network pathways that connect the up-regulated core genes (PCCA, PCCB, ACADL, ACADVL, ACSL6), to APOA5, CETP, and APOA1 (Figure 3D). The gene discussed is CETP; the disease is gestational diabetes.
