Because the bromodomain (BRD) inhibitor JQ1, which typically inhibits super-enhancer activity, decreased the IMPDH2 induction caused by EBV infection (Fig. S2B), we assume that the IMPDH2 gene is induced in a manner that is dependent on a super-enhancer involving both EBNA2 and MYC.
