Multivariate analysis showed that low creatinine/cystatin C ratio was an independent risk factor for PFS (HR=1.286, 95%CI = 1.007–1.642, p=0.044) and OS (HR=1.410, 95%CI=1.087–1.829, p=0.010) of CRC patients. This evidence concerns the gene CST3 and colorectal carcinoma.
