To address this gap, this review provides a detailed analysis of CXCL1’s role in gastrointestinal cancers, including head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)), cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer (pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma), and colorectal cancer (colon cancer and rectal cancer). The gene discussed is CXCL1; the disease is rectal cancer.
