TSC22D3 and peritonitis: During the resolving phase of E. coli-induced peritonitis, the number of classically activated macrophages (F4/80low/Ly6C+/CD11bmed) did not alter in GILZ-deficient mice (Figure 4D), but the amount of M2 (F4/80high/Ly6C−/CD11bhigh) and Mres (F4/80med/CD11blow) macrophages was lower in GILZ−/− mice compared to their respective WT littermates (Figure 4E,F).
