The dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors and Rho-associated kinase (ROCK) inhibitor can ameliorate diabetic renal fibrosis and suppress proinflammatory pathways, thereby delaying the progression of DN (24–27).
