In detail, genetically increased COLEC11 (OR = 1.10; 95% CI, 1.06–1.14; P = 1.29 × 10−6), IRF3 (OR = 1.12; 95% CI, 1.07–1.18; P = 2.50 × 10−6), and SARS2 (OR = 1.61; 95% CI, 1.33–1.95; P = 1.49 × 10−6) were associated with an increased risk of varicose veins, while LUM (OR = 0.79; 95% CI, 0.72–0.87; P = 4.57 × 10−6), POSTN (OR = 0.81; 95% CI, 0.74–0.88; P = 2.64 × 10−6), RPN1 (OR = 0.89; 95% CI, 0.85–0.94; P = 1.08 × 10−5), RSPO3 (OR = 0.88; 95% CI, 0.84–0.92; P = 1.57 × 10−9), and VAT1 (OR = 0.60; 95% CI, 0.48–0.75; P = 1.03 × 10−5) could decrease the risk of varicose veins (Figure 2B). This evidence concerns the gene RSPO3 and Varicose veins.
