DMD and Duchenne muscular dystrophy: To illustrate this application, we targeted the splice acceptor site of DMD (Duchenne muscular dystrophy) exon 45 with gGBEv6.3, and achieved a high efficiency of G editing (up to 30.3%) with a high G-to-Y ratio (up to 0.88) when targeting DMD site 1 (Fig. 4b, c and Supplementary Fig. S8a).
