In particular, phospholipase domain-containing 3 (PNPLA3) [9, 10] and transmembrane 6 superfamily member 2 (TM6SF2) [10] are well known and replicated genetic markers that associated with hepatic fibrosis/cirrhosis [11, 12], hepatitis [13], and hepatocellular carcinoma [14, 15]. This evidence concerns the gene TM6SF2 and hepatitis A virus infection.
