Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that high MAOA expression (hazard ratio [HR] 2.74, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.26–5.92; P = 0.011), pT = T2b (HR 5.46, 95% CI 1.88–15.90; P < 0.01), PSA > 10 ng/mL (HR 5.58, 95% CI 1.68–18.53; P < 0.01) and GS = 7 (HR 6.55, 95% CI 1.55–27.64; P = 0.011) were independent predictors of worse PFS in low-intermediate risk PC patients (Table 5).
