We next analyzed ARMC8 gene expression in 32 pairs of GC tissues and paired adjacent tissue samples in TCGA STAD cohort, and showed the ARMC8 gene was overexpressed in tumor samples when compared with paired samples (Fig. 3G), and that ARMC8 expression was adversely linked to miR-455-3p expression levels in GC (r=-0.54, P < 0.001) (Fig. 3H). This evidence concerns the gene ARMC8 and gastric cancer.
