However, exposure of UM, MPM, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and skin melanoma cell lines to a TEAD inhibitor22 demonstrated selective sensitivity of MPM cell lines compared to UM and other cells (Fig. 1b), suggesting additional mechanisms underlying YAP sensitivity in UM beyond TEAD engagement.
