Sialofucosylated glycoforms of CD44 have been shown to act as shear-resistant ligands for E-selectin in breast cancer cell adhesion to the endothelium (10), colon cancer cell lines (58, 59) as well as prostate cancer cell lines (60), but not yet on lung cancer cell lines to the best of our knowledge.
