Given the dynamic, context-dependent expression patterns of SASP factors with broad functional ranges, we next identified CCL20 as the key SASP factor mediating immunosuppression in senescent pancreatic tumor, with its cognate receptor CCR6 highly expressed on naive, precursor macrophages, to mediate M2 polarization and immunosuppression. The gene discussed is CCL20; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
