TP53 and lung carcinoma: Zhu et al. demonstrated in vivo that oral administration of sophoridine (16.9 mg/kg) for 4 weeks increased the expression of the p53, MDM2, LATS-1, and LAST2 proteins and significantly decreased the expression of YAP and CTGF in mice, thus inhibiting the proliferation, invasion, and migration of lung cancer cells (Zhu et al., 2020).
