Thus, considering the possible involvement of EZH2 in the progression of PD and in the processes of neuroinflammation, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of GSK-343, a selective EZH2 inhibitor, in a mouse model of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP)-induced dopaminergic neurodegeneration. The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is Parkinson disease.
