While ISG15 expression is downregulated in cisplatin-resistant ovarian cancer cells, overexpression of wild-type ISG15 increases cisplatin-sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells through ISGylated hnRNPA2B1 blockage of its recruitment, and consequently, decreases MRP2/ABCC2 translation and expression [114]. This evidence concerns the gene ISG15 and ovarian carcinoma.
