Comparisons of miRNAs in EVs showed that miR-146a-5p, which damages NF-κB activities and EMT behavior by binding to interleukin 1 receptor-associated kinase 1 (IRAK1) and tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor (TRAF6), was deficient in M2-EVs, suggesting that miR-146a-5p could be an encouraging GBM treatment candidate. The gene discussed is TRAF6; the disease is glioblastoma.
