We treated DnaJC7 KO and DnaJB6 KO cell lines with either recombinant tau fibrils, DS tau strain cell lysates (DS1, -9, or -10) (Kaufman et al., 2016), or brain lysates from subjects with Alzheimer’s disease (AD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), or corticobasal degeneration (CBD). This evidence concerns the gene DNAJB6 and progressive supranuclear palsy.
