We treated DnaJC7 KO and DnaJB6 KO cell lines with either recombinant tau fibrils, DS tau strain cell lysates (DS1, -9, or -10) (Kaufman et al., 2016), or brain lysates from subjects with Alzheimer’s disease (AD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), or corticobasal degeneration (CBD). The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
