The surviving AML blasts uniquely rewired their profiles, characterized by increased activity of AKT and mTOR pathways, upregulation of YTHDF2, a transcription factor regulating RNA metabolism and counteracting apoptosis of leukemia cells, and increased expression of CD47 and HLA-ABC (Supplemental Fig. 5B, C). This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and acute myeloid leukemia.
