Group 1 was characterized by major risk genes for developing LOAD (APOC1 and APOC1P1) [24] and immune-related genes (RELB and CBLC) [25–27], whereas group 2 was characterized by genes associated with kidney disorders, such as nephrotic syndrome (AXDND1, FBP1, and MIR2278) [28, 29]. This evidence concerns the gene APOC1P1 and nephrotic syndrome.
