Gasdermin E, which suppresses gasdermin D63, is elevated in many NSCLC cell lines, for example after treatment with trametinib (a MEK inhibitor) in A549 and NCI-H358 (KRAS G12C) cells, or erlotinib in PC9 cells, as well as other forms of targeted therapy in a large panel of NSCLC cell lines64. Here, KRAS is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
