Recently, we have developed a mouse model of unmasking C-IRIS using immunocompromised Rag1−/− mice, which lack T and B cells, with intranasal (i.n.)infection of Cn serotype A H99 (CnH99, 100 yeasts) and intravenous (i.v.)transfer of CD4+ T cells (106 cells) three weeks after CnH99 infection (hereinafter C-IRIS condition/mice)13. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and infection.
