According to a combined analysis of maternal and their babies' records, the frequency of advanced maternal age, hypertension, and diabetes before and during pregnancy, diabetes mellitus before pregnancy, cesarean delivery, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus requiring insulin treatment, chorioamnionitis, premature rupture of membrane, oligo- and polyhydramnios, preterm birth, low birth weight, male sex, and large for gestational age was higher in the group diagnosed with CP than in the controls (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene INS and preeclampsia.
