At 1 h after stroke, DEG analysis on the pericyte-specific subclusters revealed that, in the ipsilateral hemisphere compared to the contralateral one, the most active subcluster of pericytes upregulated JunD proto-oncogene (Jund), Fos proto-oncogene (Fos), Jun proto-oncogene (Jun), SUB1 regulator of transcription (Sub1), SIK family kinase 3 (Sik), ADAM metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 1 (Adamts1), and others (Fig. 3a). This evidence concerns the gene JUND and stroke disorder.
