They found that low-dose prednisone chronotherapy for RA added to existing DMARD treatment helped significantly reduce morning stiffness, severity of symptoms, and fatigue [30]. RA patients identified with altered clock gene expression may benefit from corresponding treatment with chronotherapy to better manage symptoms and dysregulated sleep.
