Similarly, we observed higher levels of mRNA transcripts associated with immune response, such as macrophages (SRGN, C1QA, C1QB, C1QC, IFI30) and neutrophils (LCP1, LAPTM5), in CD45-enriched segments, whereas GBM-associated genes such as GFAP, DDR1, CRYAB, SOX2, TTYH1 were expressed higher in GFAP-enriched segments (Fig. 6A; refs. 62–69). The gene discussed is PTPRC; the disease is glioblastoma.
