Compared to the CRS group, meloxicam diminished these pro-inflammatory events by significantly lowering PGE2, TNF-α, and IL-1β levels alongside COX-2 protein expression by 30.4% (p < 0.01, Tukey post hoc test), 39.9% (p < 0.0001, Tukey post hoc test), 42.3% (p < 0.0001, Tukey post hoc test), and 39.5% (p < 0.01, Tukey post hoc test), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene PTGS2 and congenital rubella syndrome.
